Both! online and in person courses are available. The online courses will consist of theory and detailed videos so you can watch and learn at your own placed, followed by an online or in person practical assessment to pass the course. 

Alternatively the in person courses will run for a full day, where you will come to Common Interests beauty studio (Birmingham) and complete a 1 day course.

The ultimate beginners course (online 12 week access / in person: 1 day intensive course within a group)

This beginner nail tech course is perfect for absolute newbies to the industry. It covers everything you need to start your nail technician career. Additionally, the course includes valuable insights into business resources in addition to offering guidance on creating content and establishing your social media presence to effectively launch and grow your nail tech business.

Accredited e-file course: This course is for qualified nail technicians that want to enhance their manicure routine with the use of e-file. You will have up to 12 weeks to complete the course, starting with essential health and safety practices to ensure a hygienic and safe work environment for both you and your clients. You will learn crucial techniques on how to incorporate an e-file into your manicure routine to perfect your nail and skin prep giving you the confidence to create manicures in a timely manner. You will also have access to product recommendations with direct links to assist you on creating those photo worthy manicures.

The nail routine – a guide to builder gel application for qualified techs (manual or e-file prep)

This course is perfect for qualified nail technicians that want to focus on improving their gel application and builder gel skills. You will have 8 weeks to learn how to perfect your nail prep by hand and create manicures in a timely manner and with confidence. You will also have access to product recommendations with direct links to assist you on creating those photo worthy manicures.

Yes, Commense Academy is fully accredited and meets all standards of quality education.

Yes, there are multiple payment plans available or you can pay in full.

We offer multiple accredited courses, for both complete beginners and experienced nail technicians. 

You will have 8-12 weeks depending on your course to complete online, however courses can be completed at your own pace in your own time so it’s entirely up to you. After completing your theory, your online practical assessment will be marked within 3-5 days, in person assessments will be assessed on the day.

In person courses are a 1 day course.
